Zambia’s President, Hichilema reject proposal to buy cars worth $1.8m for his entourage

Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema rejected a proposal to buy cars worth $1.8 million for his entourage, after he won the election in August 2021.

In his response to the proposal, President Hichilema asked them if they were no cars in the Government House.

This was before he was even sworn-in.
