Nigerian Senate president, Senator Bukola Saraki has comend on the approval of new minimum wage.
He made the commendations know on his Facebook page, according Bukola; TodayInSenatePlenary, we approved the Report for the N30,000 Minimum Wage.
I commend the Ad-Hoc Committee and all my colleagues that worked on this task. Most importantly, I applaud the patience of Nigerian workers and the leadership of the Labour Unions who have been calling for an upward review of the minimum wage.
I hope that with this minimum wage we can improve the general productivity of our nation. It is also my hope that the implementation will start immediately.
