National independent electoral commission have shifted Saturday February 16 2019 presidential and the national assembly elections till next week 23rd of February.
It was an agreement reached earlier today in a meeting between inec chairman professor mahmood yakubu and 12 national commissioner in abuja according to sources who review what was being discussed in the meeting.
The reason of shifting the election will be disclose today by professor Yakubu.
According to the closes sourcewho disclose the information the meeting which began from evening was still in progress up till 1:30 a:m. rotimi oyinkan the chief press secretary to the inec chairman told newsmen that the decisions of shifting the elections till 23rd of February 2019 will be communicated to the masses later today.
