INEC to hold supplementary election

Independent National electoral commission (INEC) have said that, they are going to hold a supplementary election for the just concluded Presidential and national assembly election. INEC said that the supplementary election will hold on those areas where election did not take place or areas where returns is not made.

INEC’s national commissioner for information and voter education, Festus Okoye reveal the information on Friday 1st of march 2019, after holding a meeting with some top prominent Nigerians.

INEC said that supplementary elections will be held together with governorship and state house of assemblies elections slated to take place on Saturday, 9 of March 2019.

“The outcome of the meeting is that supplementary elections will be hold in all areas where elections did not take place and areas where they could not made a returns of the just concluded election.
