The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, on 18 of march 2019 in the afternoon, hosted The Open University of UK’s Dr. Kerry Murphy, at National open University (NOUN) headquarter Abuja Nigeria, who was at the University for a partnership.

Murphy, of OpenSTEM Africa, is with the Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, at the OU.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uba Adamu welcomed Dr. Kerry Murphy to the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The prof. expressed the zealousness of NOUN to established partnerships with the OU.

Accoding to him, NOUN is the ideal place for such collaborations with its sister university in the UK and hopes that it will foster positive outcomes to both parties.

Discussions about the technical details of such collaborations then went to the level of relevant Deans, where Prof. Grace E. Jokthan of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Prof. Moniola Olaniyi of Faculty of Sciences thrashed the salient points.
