Unknown gunmen has killed One person and injured, nine others people as they attacked Garin Maidawa community in Abiya ward of Dutse Local Government area (LGA) of Jigawa State.
Confirming the incident, Councillor of Abiya ward , Mr. Safiyanu Abdu told channel television that the gunmen attack the community on Wednesday night.
He however said, the injured persons has been taken to Rasheed Shakoni Teaching Hospital, Dutse where they are currently been treated.
Responding to the incident, SP Audu Jinjiri, Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the attack in a telephone interview.
He, however, said that Jigawa State Police Command is yet to get specific figure of the number of casualties from the incident as at this morning.
