Alhamdulillah, every Muslim should bear it in mind that he or she is going to be tested in life. Nomatter your wealth, power, knowledge, fear of Allah, you are not free from test of life.
There are five trials Allah will test us in this world.
Allah says in Quran,
We shall verily test you of something of fear, and hunger, and naqsim minal amwal(hardship in your wealth) and your fruit(work) and lose of soul among ourselves, but give glad tidings of those who are patient. Surah baqarah 2;155.
This is the test every Muslim should be prepared.
Some test are stronger than others.
But all these test, if a person endures it with patient and trust in Allah, he will be rewarded for it.
The prophet s.a.w said,
There is nothing Allah grants a person precious than as sabir(patience).
Saheeh by ibn majah.
The more patient we becomes, the more we gain victory.
Pains in this world is better than to enter into the pains of hereafter, suffering, illness, prosecution by enemies is all part of test.
Allah says surah 2;214,
The sahaba were shaken with poverty, hunger, affliction by enemies, insults, sickness, and what they said was,
When is the help of Allah with tears and about to lose hope.
Allah says, verily the help of Allah is near.
All these is part of life but if we don’t understand it, we think Islam is not true, Allah is unfair to us.
But Allah replied us saying,
There are among some people when they suffer affliction from people think it is the punishment of Allah. Surah ankaboot 29;14.
May Allah grants us heart to endure every trials in life. Amen
