A man named Uwani Danjuma, 30 years old, has reportedly murder his wife because she plan to re-marry another man after his death.
The ugly development happen at Uddu Village in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger state.
Danjuma, who narrate what transpire between him and his said that when he was sick some weeks ago, his wife told him that she is going to re-marry another man if he die.
With the Angered of that words in his mind, as Danjuma got well, he used cutlass to attacker and murdered his wife in cold blood.
Danjuma confess to the crime, that he carry out the attack when his wife was sleeping, revealing that he killed her intentionally because of her comments she made to him when he was on a sick bed.
Danjuma words read, “I can’t imagine my own wife telling me that if I died, she will remarry. I lost my temper and inflicted injuries on her neck with matchete which led to her death.”
“I am not regretting killing her since she wanted me to die, I killed her so that she will not remarry. She should not have said that to my hearing, there is power in the spoken words; so let her go. Allah will send her to hell fire for that unguarded comment.”
Mohammad Abubakar, Police Public Relations, in the state, said the suspect was arrested based on tip off further said that he had already confessed to the crime
Abubakar who describe what led to the dead of the deceased said the injury Danjuna inflicted on the neck of deceased led to her death.
The suspect will still be charged to court, Abubakar concluded his statement.
