Femi Fani Kayode has said that he will be on African Independent Television (AIT) live today’s Tuesday 21st of January 2020 in the evening at 7.00pm to discuss Amotekun.
Amotekun is security outfit setup by the Southwest Governors to safeguard the securities challenge in the Southwest region.
According to Rotimi Akeredolu, the chairman of Southwest region governor, the securities outfit is to assist government security agency to get rid of crime in the region.
Meanwhile, Federal government of Nigeria, through the office of Attorney General of the Federation AGF Malami has described Amotekun as illegal security outfit.
Malami said no region has the right to setup any security outfit without the approval of the federal government.
Also Many Northern, has kick against the securities outfit.
Miyatti Allah cattle Breeder Association of Nigeria, has threatened Southwest region that if they insists of suspending Amotekun security outfit, then the region should forget about 2023 Presidency.
Femi Fani Kayode in reaction to the threats said that Northerner’s should go to hell with their presidency, he said Amotekun has come to Stay.
Professor Wole Soyinka’s also blasted AGF Malami, he said they should go back to sleep that Amotekun has come to Stay.
Governor Akeredolu, Ondo State Governor in his reaction to AGF Malami, said that Law are not made in Malami Office.
