News reaching us is that many bandits has been reportedly killed in Zamfara State.
The bandits were killed by the residents of Birinin Magaji local area of Zamfara. The report has it that the bandits were invited for peace talk, from that process the community descended on them living many of them dead.
Omokoshaban learn that their cows which were suspected to be rustled were ceased, and kept at the emir’s palace in Birnin Magaji. However, the cattle were taken to Gusau, the state capital.
On the said development, the bandits went and hire some official of the State Security Service (SSS) which come with them to emir’s palace to beg for the release of their cows.
But The emir, Husseini Dan-Ali, was away to Kaduna when the suspected bandits visited and his secretary, Muhammadu Mai-inji, which was in the palace was the one attend to them, and reportedly had a meeting with them.
But the Residents, come had with them, by laying ambush after the meeting, many bandits was reportedly eliminated.
