Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna State Governor today commission Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology in Kachia Kaduna States.
The Governor reveal this via tweet, according to his tweet,
“Governor Nasir Ahmad @elrufai was in Kachia this morning where he served as the Special Guest of Honour at the Commissioning Ceremony of the Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology.
Malam @elrufai restated the commitment of the Kaduna State Government to providing a conducive environment for the conduct of the School’s operations, including the donation of the former Govt Secondary School, Farakwai, for conversion into a Nigerian Navy Secondary School.
The Governor also thanked the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral IE Ibas, for providing the wherewithal needed boost the capacity of the NNSAT to contribute meaningfully to the general security of Kaduna State.
Vice Admiral IE Ibas stated that the concept behind the establishment of the NNSAT is to have a centre of excellence in Naval Armament R&D; capable of world class prognostic reports, design, fabrication, manufacturing & testing of weapons, weapons systems and sensors”.
