Nigeria will not Know peace until Igbo man become the president ~ Senator Nwobodo

Senator Jim Nwobodo has said that their will be no peace in Nigeria, until Igbo man become the president of Nigeria. Nwobodo said this on his “79th birthday celebration which took place at The Base Event centre, independent layout Enugu”.

The senator and a former governor of old Anambra State, urge Nigeria to let Igbo come out for president come 2023, stressing that “Nigeria will not know peace until an Igbo becomes President”.

He called on Ndigbo to put their head together and support any body that is doing well to represent them 2023.

He urged the judiciary to carry out their duties with justice, he said that it’s only the judiciary that can stop Nigeria from disintegration.

The Chief celebrant, Senator Nwobodo said that Ugwuanyi has truly bring everybody together in peace and harmony.

President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo who speak at the event, described Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State as a governor whose leadership knows no measure.

He said that Ugwuanyi did not because of political you belongs to discriminate you.

He said “Ugwuanyi has no boundary. We have never had such love that exists in Enugu State today,” .

He said that even in the day of Nwobodo as a governor, Enugu was not living in peace as they are living today.

“The next governor should not remind us of old days of acrimony or animosity,” he said.
