AN ADULTERATED KEROSENE EXPLOSION’ VICTIMS CRIES OUT FOR HELP IN EKET LGA.

I am afraid of losing my husband to death,may God forgive those road side kerosene sellers that put my family in this manner at this time.Mrs Emefen Charles Imakop,Wife of the Victim…,..

Mr Charles Imakop from Ikot usoekong residing in Ofriyo village in Eket,the victim of the kerosene explosion that took place at Ofriyo village Eket yesterday cried out for help from members of the public, Social Organization and Government to come to their rescue. The explosion affected a two(2) years old baby girl,a seven(7) years Old baby girl and the father who took the risk of rescuing the children from the fire.

According to him in a conversation, he says, “I didn’t know the kerosene i bought will rendered me and my family useless this way, i did not know the kerosene i joyfully bought with my hard earn money was an adulterated kerosene that will put me in this manner, i shade tears today not because i am affected but my children being involved,I struggle and hustled to keep them upright,now i am down where will my help comes from??

I bought the kerosene at night along Hospital road Eket.

According to the victim’s wife Mrs Emefen Charles Imakop says “my husband is in a very critical experience,I am afraid of losing him to death at this time, as it is now we have lost every house
properties,our up keep money and the pains we are going through, we have stay here for five years without experiencing this kind of casualties at this point we lack words but i know God is alive.

Please i want people with good heart etc to please come and rendered help to us”.

Mrs Emefen Charles Imakop who just rounded up her National Youth Service Corps program in Kogi State. Says the incident just happened unexpected. But I thank God for keeping us alive still this moment, I know God in heaven will not allowed anything to happen to my husband and my two children.
