The people of Biroko in Mozum District of Bassa LGA celebrated Sallah in Autara in Mozum district.
On Friday 28-06-19 they went to Biroko to put in place preparations for their returned back to their home (Biroko).
Sunday 30-06-19, HRM King Khalid Bukar II the Ohiogba of Mozum and custodian of the Kingdom in his guest to see to the peaceful return of his people took a visit to Biroko alongside with security agents (Army) who jointly discussed and encouraged them to be peaceful and tolerant.
Upon their returning back,Bassakomu militias mounted a road block along Biroko junction at about 730pm, upon sighting his car and that of the Army, Bassakomu militias started shooting with a lot of confrontation and counter confrontation with the Army which lasted till about 11pm. To a point Army was reinforced from Anyigba to secure HRM and others as the militias where in numbers.
It lasted till 2pm.
HRM Ohiogba of Mozum Kingdom is with the military well and hearty but both HRM and the 3 Army vans were partially damaged.
