This is Kara, an animal business hub along Lagos-Ibadan Exp way.

As dirty/shanty as this area looks, there are banks here because of huge financial transactions going on daily contributing significantly to our GDP as well as creating jobs for many especially the youth and women.
Yes, majority of them are Fulani but for many decades, they haven’t claim or ‘taken over’ this land. They didn’t call it ‘No mans land’

Wait, Is there anything wrong if this land is upgraded to world class animal husbandry centre equipped with modern facilities, schools and health centre?

It has potential to increase IGR of not only Lagos and Ogun state but FG as a whole. It can serve as animal business hub for west Africa sub region fetching us billions of dollars.

We should never allow hatred, bitter politics and ethno-religious sentiments to blind us.
May God heal my country.

Note:
KARA is from the word Kraal which is an enclosure for cattle or other livestock. A waiting place for animals before being taken to abattoir.
