Kogi Kotonkarfe LGA Chairman Task Residents On Security

The Administrator and Chairman Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Chief, Hon. (Barr) Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku today appealed to the traditional rulers, town unions, artisans, security and other Stakeholders to be security conscious to checkmate criminal activities in their area.

Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko, who made the appeal during his visit to the palace of Ohimege Igu (Agabaidu) of Kotonkarfe Kingdom in Kogi LGA, the headquarters of the local government area, also charged law-enforcement agents to deal decisively with hoodlums as the council has declared zero tolerance for crimes and other social vices.

The Chairman further threatened to sanction any body irrespective of his/her tribes, religious and positions found guilty of involvement in the crimes.

He commended the joint security forces for a job well-done especially the Vigilante who are also working hard towards ensuring crimes is totally eradicated.

In his remark, the first class monarch and Agabaidu of Kotonkarfe, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto, called on the public to provide useful information to law enforcement, stating that his Kingdom will not tolerate any form of criminality and assured that he is battle ready to join forces with Chairman and security forces to fight crimes in the area.

The monarch, said that the security meeting was timely, and commended the Kogi LGA Chief Administrator, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku for his leadership quality, even as he also called on the youths to engaged in meaningful ventures to stay away from crimes. Ohimege said.
