The Omoko Odumi community leaders in Kogi Local Government Area of the State led by it’s district head HRH. Alhaji Umar Zakari Akuke and the APC Chairman Kogi LGA, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi were today Sunday stormed the Administrator of Kogi LGA, Hon. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku residence to acknowledged his efforts in the fight against banditry and other related crimes in the area.
The group gave the commendation during a courtesy called on the council boss by its district head and the party chieftain in Lokoja other critical members of the community.
They noted that the Chairman zeal in the launch of various anti-crime operations by the join security personnel show the level and commitment of the Governor Yahaya Bello led christened New Direction administration in Kogi State Government to address security challenges across the State.
HRH. Alhaji Umar Zakari Akuke, the Odumi of Omoko Kingdom said the operations has decisively dealt with some faces involved by the law enforcement to tackle banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities were yielding positive results.
The Kogi LGA APC Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi, commended the Executive Chairman for his efforts at putting to an end banditry, kidnapping and and other criminal activities in Kogi LG and environ.
The party Chieftain said “with what Kogi Kotonkarfe LGA Administrator is doing is in fulfillment of Governor Yahaya Bello campaign promises to tackle insecurity as part of his cardinal objectives and vision in his ongoing New Direction policy, we therefore, wish to urge him not to relent as the results is open for all to see and testify”.

On his part, the Chief Administrator of Kogi Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr) Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, thanked them for finding him worthy of the visit and assured them of his continue commitment, determination and courage to bring to an end the fight against banditry, kidnapping and all sort of crimes in the ancient LGA.
He commended the HRH. Alhaji Umar Zakari Akuke, the Odumi of Omoko and the authentic Kogi LG APC Chairman for their loyalty, cooperation and peaceful coexistence in ensuring the needful is done in the ongoing fight against crimes in the area.
The Osuku born professional lawyer cum dogged political icon urge them to always provide meaningful information that will lead to arrest of those recalcitrants elements still at large making the community a hell placed for innocent populace. The Chairman Stated.
