Live Update From Gboloko, Bassa LG: Jubilations In Bassa LG As 21 LGAs Visits The Areas To Canvases For Gov. Bello Reselection Quest

It was a moment of joys and jubilations from all angles for the good people of Bassa LG receiving the grassroots political juggernauts who doubles as 21 Chairmen of LGAs under the aegis of ALGON leadership Kogi State chapter, coming to Bassa Nge Kingdom the land of peace and agriculture.

The Administrators first of call was at the palace of HRM. Alh. BRIG. Gen. Abu Ali (RTD) Etsu of Bassa Nge Kingdom to formally seek his fatherly blessing before attending to the most important political activities that brought them to the host LG.

Speaking in the palace of Etsu Bassa Nge, the leader of 21 LG chairmen (ALGON) and chairman of Ijumu LG, Hon. Isah Taufiq commended the fatherly role playing by the Paramount ruler of Bassa especially in area of sustainable peaceful coexistence between Bassa Nge, Egbira Mozum and Bassa Kwomu respectively.

He also told the first class ruler and a retired commissioned military officer that they were also in the palace to deliver a special message from the amiable Governor of Kogi State, to thanked him more especially on his fatherly role during the traditional rulers visit to the presidential villa, Abuja, to see the president and commander in chief of federal republic of Nigeria, on behalf of Kogi populace which today Kogi people are reaping the positive effects that lead to payments backlog salaries of civil servants from Sate to LG levels.

Hon. Taufiq maintained that the 21 LGAs Chairmen under the ALGON leadership decided to embark on a tour to all LGAs of the State as to assess true situation of the areas and as well report back to their leader and Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahya Adoza Bello for appropriate action.

In a response, HRM. Alhaji Abu Ali retired, the Etsu Bassa Nge Kingdom, expressed total gratitude to the Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello through LG chairmen for coming down to his Kingdom to interact and interface with them to him was a welcome development seeing young people working together for the overall development of their State.

The monarch who was supported by the King of Muzum Kingdom, HRH. Alhaji Bukar Ali, the Ohigba of Muzum and others Chiefs and title holders pray to God to grant the Administrators and their aides back safely to their various destination.

At Township Hall To Meets With APC Delegates, Executives And Stalwarts:

Hon. Sam Alumka, the Chairman of Bassa LG in his brief welcome addressed welcomed his colleagues to the land of peace and agriculture. Assured the ALGON delegation that Bassa LG party executives are young and energetic like his principal, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello, Administrators and himself who will do everything humanly possible to ensure youthful administration ably led by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is protected and sustain beyond 2023 by grace of God.

Speaking earlier, the ALGON Jagaban and Chairman of Ijumu LG, Hon. Isah Taufiq, said they were in Bassa LG to freely interface and interact with their APC family and to also seek their support ahead of slated APC gubernatorial primaries coming up this month.

Alhaji Taufiq openly told the party executives to votes massively for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello who firmly stand to protect their interests as against those calling for their sacked but the youthful Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello out of his magnanimity and love for whosoever that worked for him should be rewarded objected their baseless claimed saying its not yet time for you to leave but to be part of the New Direction.

Also speaking in Egbira dialect, Kogi LG Chairman, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko aka Osuku, who is also an Egbira Koto said he was also in Bassa to discussed with all the party executives especially delegates from Egbira race not to make mistake to divert their votes to diaspora aspirants because the Egbira of Kogi Kotonkarfe LG has already taken the lead in reelection bid of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.

He advised them to collaborate with his colleague and Chairman of Bassa LG, Hon. Sam Alumka towards ensuring Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello emerge victorious in Bassa LG.

In a similar development, the delegation had since departed to Omala LG, country home of the former Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris aka Ibro in continuation of the tour.
