As Sallah celebration is ongoing across the country, the people of Kogi Kotonkarfe LGA of Kogi State do not leave any stone unturned, especially the council staff came in number to identified with their leader, and as well celebrate with him on this special annual spiritual occasion marking the Eid-El- Kabir which symbolize sacrificed.
A group of LG staff led by Comr. Abdulmalik Y. Mahmud, said they were in his residence to thanked, wished their leader well for all he has been doing for the good people of Kogi LG and beyond.
“Kogi LG is lucky to have a capacity, hardworking, humble and rare gem personality like Hon. Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, whose leadership and exemplary style has brought total redemption to the host LGC”.
“You’re a man of all seasons, man of the people and always stand for your words, you’re very close to your people at grassroots and in addition you run an open doors policy by touching lives positively “.
The group reiterated it’s total loyalty, solidarity and support to him and Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello second term bid, assured the Chairman of their continued maximum grassroots support.
They Also pray God to continue to grant the speaking Chairman the following; guide, protect, sound health, long life and prosperity so that the good people of Kogi Kotonkarfe LG and entire Egbira race will continued to tapped from his vast wealth of experienced and his no bound service to humanity.
In his response, the people’s Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku described their visit as most welcomed and home coming considering their various roles in the council as most solidified, encouraging and called for emulation from other quarters.
He said the people are the main ingredients of governance in any developing nation, and hence for continue patronage of his people at grassroots level.
He noted that the present administration led by the youthful, workaholic and most grassroot Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has deem it fit and necessary to ensure that people are the sole benefits of the ongoing administration inline with its vision contained in the New Direction driven agenda.
He urged them to continued leaving in peace with one another as enshrined in the Hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which every Muslims irrespective of tribes are all expected to emulate as to gain Allah’s favour in both here on earth and hereafter.
He commended them for their cooperation, zealous and team work while carrying out their various functions at LG council Secretariat and pray God for their safe returned to their various destination.
