Bello promised to spend part of the N30.8 billion Bailout fund to fight against the appointment of Faleke as the Chairman of the Screening Committee

Aftermath of the appointment of James Abiodun Faleke as the Chairman of APC Gubernatorial Screening Committee, Governor Yahaya Bello ran to Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State for help.
As at the time of writing this update, the camp of GYB is jiltery over this Development. They claimed that Faleke as an interested party in the contest does not deserve the appointment.
GYB has promised to spend a substantial part of the 30.8 billion Naira Bailout fund he collected recently to fight against the appointment of Faleke as the Chairman of the Screening Committee.
Meanwhile, the Crime of INEC double registration committed by the Governor is being considered as one of the reasons why he may be disqualified by the screening Committee.
It will be recalled that sometimes in 2017, Governor Yahaya Bello was involved in INEC double Registration scandal in his office at LUGARD House and this offence has led to the dismissal of three INEC staff who participated in the exercise.
