The chartered institute of public management of Nigeria, takes a special recognition of Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia, the first elected female Executive Chairman, Egor Local Government Council area, for her outstanding managerial performance as she is bestowed with “AWARD OF VALUABLE RECOGNITION “

It will be recalled that since the inception of the Administration of Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia as Executive Chairman, Egor Local Government Council Area, she has remained focused, bringing the best of development infrastructure to her people against her personal comfort.

The institution, said they took particular interest in the I.C.T driven Revenue House she judiciously built with tax payers money for proper accounting and record keeping taxes and levies collected by her administration, the crèche she built for the benefit of staff of council, to encourage their attitude to work, and the over seventy roads she reconstructed in all the thirty eight communities that make up Egor.

They also took sound interest in her efforts in infrastructural development in three major markets in Egor Local Government Council Area as the construction of perimeter fence, commercial interlocking carparking lot, beautiful functional modern toilets and bathrooms all in Uwelu General market and an on going perimeter fence and commercial car parking lot project in Uselu market.

They also highlighted the fact that while all these are on going, she is building to completion, a magnificent heath care hospital that is well above the primary health care level expected of a Local Government council.

It should be noted, these are not the only project currently going on under her watch as a police post construction along Mela Motel road to tackle the insecurity problems in that area.

They took notice of a fact, that she inherited them months of salary liability from the previous administration and so far, she has liquidated five of them, while at the same time, she is paying the once in her administration.

Uselu secondary school is also taking a feel of her capacity as an erudite politician, performing well above expectations, as she is giving the most dilapidated set of classrooms a complete overhaul.

It is small wonder that she is being giving an unsolicited award from a prestigious institution as this one.

He has made is outstanding mark is duly representing the masses in Edo state and beyond.

His contribution to the betterment of our society, is never in doubt.

In Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia acceptance speech, she thanked the institute and organizers of the award, for finding her and her work, worthy to be recognized.

She promised she will continue to do more for her people as that is her calling which is to serve her people in the best of her ability and not for her people to serve her.
