Dear Beloved Constituents,
I am thrilled to humbly announce to you that on this day (August 30th, 2019), the mandate you gave me on 23rd February, 2019 to represent you at the National Assembly has been further affirmed by the competent Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja.
Seeking redress by opponents in the court of competent jurisdiction for ‘perceived electoral irregularities’ is one of the guidelines for an enduring democratic culture.
On this note, I wish to declare to you that I bear no grudges against any petitioner as they remain relevant reference point in the history of our victory as a Senatorial district. Making enemies in politics and tarnishing people’s image is not my philosophy of leadership.
Therefore, I urge you all to live peacefully with everyone and avoid provocative statements against supporters of any candidate as we celebrate this victory.
The victory is for all of us and our Almighty Maker has again proved that He is the giver of power to whoever He wishes. I will continue to count on your support as we journey to another phase of our political experience.
I appreciate your support and prayers which have translated to our much-deserved celebration today.
Again, the confidence you reposed in me will never be toyed with.
My doors are always open to everyone who has the interest of our people at heart to bring ideas that would bring development to our Senatorial District.
