The fulani / Herdsmen under the umbrella of myetti Allah cattle breaders converged on Saturday 7th September , 2019 at the ancient central pilot primary school Ugya Toto LGA. of Nasarawa State to find lasting solution to the incessant cases of kidnapping, cattle rustling, robbering ,rapping etc. Where in most cases Fulani/Herdsmen are fingered as the major perpetrators.
Saddaned by this latest and ugly development the state chairman of the association Alh. Mohammed Hussaini said contrary to the legacy of our ancestors bequeathed on us , criminality was never and has never be the way of life of Fulani people ; ” today’s gathering is to draw a battle line between the bad eggs , we would evoke the spirit of our ancestors and special prayer for Allah to place special curse on those involved thereby destroying the good image of the Fulani nation.
Performing the cultural rite FLACO COMBO Alh. Bissala and Baba Chiroma Hussaini making incantation aimed at evoking the ancestral spirit that will go after criminals. They however said those who will genuinely repent will be free from the curse . The teaching of our Late leader Uthman Danfodio centred on cattle rearing , farming and education and not criminality .
Earlier in his remark the executive chairman Toto LGA. Hon. Prince Nuhu Dauda stand fhe state chapter of the association for the bold step taking in this direction . He assured the body of his administration readiness to partner with any organization or individual in order to flush out criminals in the Local Govt, saying, the fourty five men committee will be given adequate support in the task ahead for the benefit of all .
The occasion was well attended by middle belt zonal coordinator, Kogi State chairman , FCT chairman , Benue state chairman of the association respectively. Paramount rulers and securiy chiefs of the Local Govt. were all in attendance.
