Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) has confirmed that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi did a double voters card registration, stating that Bello first registration was on 30th of January 2011, in Abuja, and his second registration was on Tuesday May 27th 2017, at Government House in Lokoja.
INEC in Statement, said that, what Governor Bello did is against electoral act.
The commission Further said that section 308(1) (a) of the 1999 constitution as amended prevent the commission from prosecuting him while in office.
