Osuku called for Unity among APC Zone B leader ahead of Kogi election

The chairman of Kogi Kotonkarfe, (KKF) Local Government Area (LGA) Barr. Musa Tanko Osuku has called for Unity Among Zone B Leaders Ahead Of Kogi State Governorship election, slated for 16th of November 2019.

Osuku said this on the 15th of this month in a meeting held at Ozi Community in Kogi KKF.

Reporting the outcome of the meeting “By Comr Yahaya Idris, 15th October, 2019”.

Yahaya said “The Administrator of Kogi Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Chief Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, has appealed to entire members of zone Be and critical stakeholders in the area to be united in order to hasten the development of the area.

The Administrator spoke at a meeting he convened with members of the Zone at Ozi community venue of the gathering where he task members of the zone to come together irrespective of tribes, religious and geographical consideration to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Barr. Tanko, while addressing APC members and supporters in Ozi, on Wednesday urged members of the ruling party to massively vote for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello/Chief David Edward Onoja governorship election comes November 16, 2019.

Also in the meeting was a youth leader from Zone B Comr. Bala Ette appeal to leaders to protest the interest of the zone politically before, during and after election and called for unity of purpose among members.

Earlier speaking, a former commissioner in the state, Hon. Abdulrahman Wuya Okpasco added that there were “numerous benefits they would derive from the government” while noting that the APC led administration is capable and remain the best, urging the populace of Zone Be to ensure the zone maintain its usual lead of election victory.

Mr. Wuya, said it was important to adopt the candidate of APC, “considering the closeness” of their appointees serving in the New Direction and the government of the day.

“This evening, the entire leadership of the Zone B met and agreed that we would work for reelection of GYB/CEDO and also strategizing as not only to win election with wide mirbut to come out in unity to lead in the forthcoming election,” he said.

Recalled Zone B apart from being the biggest Zone has the highest voter’s register in Kogi LGA and had never failed in any election.

Those in attendance included, all critical stakeholders of the zone ranging from ward chairmen, youths leaders, women leaders except the serving member of the State House Assembly, Hon. Muhammed Abubakar Tanko and APC LG youth leader whose commitment could not allow them to be in attendance but however communicated their commitment commitment to the congress through a representatives.”
