Shaba address public for the first time since his Appeal court Victory, speak on the date of Inauguration

Barrister Shaba Ibrahim’s, for the first time address the public since his Appeal court victory, where he was declared winner of Lokoja-Kotonkarfe house of representative election.

He also speak on the date of his inauguration.

His address read “I really appreciates all of us that stand since the beginning of this course till this result is out.By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you’re &what you have achieved & perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumble &losses yyou actually can enhance everyting about you. Self acknowledgment&appreciation are what give you the insight&awareness to move forward for higher goal& accomplishment. Never forget the three powerful resources you always have available to you; love,prayers, forgiveness. Forgive others, not because they deserved it,but because you deserved peace. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate only peace can do that. We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us&some evil in the best of us. When you discover this,you would be less prone to hate your enemies. The most important thing that I learned in growing up is that forgiveness is thing that,when you do it,you free yourself to move on. Forgiveness is not always easy re times it feels more powerful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it&yet there’s is no peace without forgiveness”
