The Administrator of Adavi LG, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami has pledged his continued support for the Kogi Pillars Football Club formally known as “Nagazi Mancity FC”.
The Council Boss gave the assurances during a courtesy call made to the Football Club on their usual training ground at E.C.S.S, Ogaminana in Adavi LG Area.
Hon. Joseph started by thanking the players for their wonderful performance in the recent tournament they partook in Edo State and emerged first in the overall tournament.
Speaking further, Hon. Joseph expresses his Joy and thanked God for his favor; he noted that there is nothing as good as ones discovering his/her talent and ready to build on it. The Council Boss reiterated that football is a good entertainment game that many States are investing in. However, the current administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello is doing all he could to promote sporting activities and other entertainments in the State. The Council Boss said, within his own capacity he shall complement the State Government’s effort by going along with positive ideas that will boost entertainment at large.
He advised the club to always be a good ambassador and make the state proud wherever they are. “Make your self proud before anyone else and never relent your positive energy in any of the competitions you may fixture in, continue to train harder and work as team”, he affirmed.
The sport-loving Administrator finally, assured his total commitment to the support of the club.
In his speech, the Coach of the Kogi Pillar FC, Comrade Hudu who spoke on behalf of the team thanked the Hon. The administrator for taking time out of his busy schedule to honor their invitation. He expresses his profound gratitude to Hon. Administrator which he said, his intervention has really brought tremendous improvement to his team, in terms of his financial contributions as well as his consistent Words of Encouragement. Adding that, in the history of Adavi, there’s no Administrations in Adavi LG who has so magnanimous in supporting FC Club like the way the present administration under the able leadership of Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami does. He therefore, thanked him for all he has done for them and prayed for God’s guidance upon him and the good people of Adavi.
