The Yahaya Bello Media Centre (YBMC) has said the opinion polls gathered so far from various categories of sociopolitical groups across the state clearly shows the incumbent governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello will coast to victory in the forth coming gubernatorial election in Kogi state.
The group made this known in Kabba on Monday, during their #Door2Door campaign for Bellonoja19 that was greeted by a large turnout of residents cheering the group as they preach the New Direction gospel.
In their usual tradition, the group interacted with individuals and some youth groups while propagating what the government has done so far in various facet of the state and what the people should expect if voted for a second term.
The responses majorly indicated that consolidation on the already established gains of democracy ushered in by the incumbent governor should be sustained for the next phase having set the foundation for a viable state.
The group which defied the downpour, which they see as a blessing is convinced of Governor Bello and Dep. Governor Edward Onoja’s victory at the polls.
The group visited the venue for the official flag off rally for the Western Senatorial District to take place today in Kabba where it applauded the level of preparedness.
This is coming at the heels of the Eastern senatorial district’s rally of the APC in Idah which was attended by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo alongside the party national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomle and other serving governors. It is expected that the Kabba event will also witness the mammoth crowd that caused a gridlock within the ancient city of Idah on Saturday, signs people adjudged that the APC government in Kogi state is in the heart of Kogites.
