“Some people say I am not speaking up about the Bayelsa and Kogi elections. I have tried for Nigeria. I sponsored #BusesforDemocracy to ferry Nigerians nationwide to vote in February, irrespective of who they were voting for. I fed voters without caring about their party affiliation. Do you know how much that cost? I have been talking and doing. I am one of the few who went into government without stealing, yet the same Nigerians I am fighting for will accuse me of stealing, then they will go and vote for the real thieves. If not that my book became a bestseller, I would have been as poor as a church rat. The ruler of my own country put me on a wanted list, yet I travel to other nations and they roll out the red carpet to receive me and I meet with their leaders. The only thing I have not done for Nigeria is to kill myself. If I kill myself, who will love and train my children? Buhari? Give me a break! It is now time for me to accept that Nigerians deserve the government they have. Let me focus on evangelism and Free Leah Sharibu. ‪I once thought General Buhari and those who brought him were Nigeria’s problem. In deciding to wash my hands off Nigerian politics, I came to the conclusion that we ourselves are the problem. Christ already died for Nigerians. I wont join Him to die.
