Outbreak of Crisis: Taraba State Governor sue for peace among residence in Kwararafa Villages

Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has sue for peace coexistence among the residence of Kwararafa Villages in Gassol Local Government area of the state.

The sue for peace come as result of outbreak of Crisis in the villages that was caused after the State government change name secondary school in the village to Kwararafa Secondary school.

Disclosing the development,

Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity Mr. Bala Dan Abu said in a “Press Statement” that “Taraba State Governor, His Excellency Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has sued for peace among residents of Kwararafa village, in Gassol Local Government Area of the state, following an outbreak of crisis among the residents during the weekend.”

According to Abu, the Governor who is not happy the outbreak of the crisis, said the villages have lives together happily for decays now, stating that crisis never be the solution for the little disagreement.

He said, “Gov Ishaku is unhappy with frequent resort to violence by people who have lived together for decades as good neighbours and noted that this is never the right solution for disagreements among people and communities.

He said whatever the issues that may be involved and whatever the depth of the feelings and sentiments that those issues generate, dialogue remains the best approach for achieving peaceful resolution.
He is unhappy and deeply concerned about the turn of events in Kwararafa and has directed security agencies to intervene to restore peace quickly.

The Governor advised residents of Kwararafa village to cooperate with security agencies deployed to the area to facilitate the quick return of nomalcy to the village.”
