Salary is the right of workers, it shouldn’t be over celebrated, Governor Bello tell Kogi workers

Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello have said that payment of salaries is the right of workers, stating, that it should not be over celebrated.

The Governor said this yesterday, as he received many calls from workers informing him of prompt payment of November salaries.

According to DG Media To The Governor. Kingsley Fanwo who disclosed the information, said that

“Some civil servants called me today. All they wanted to tell me was that they were paid November salary since yesterday.
I think they were surprised because they thought the normalization Of salary and regular payments were due to the election.
So they are surprised that the Governor was still committed to that even after winning his election landslide.
Salary is a right of the workers. It shouldn’t be over celebrated. It is normal.
This administration will continue to meet that obligation. It is not for elections but because it is the right of the workers. We are happy we no longer have issue with that basic responsibility.
