Just in: Kogi Deputy Gov. Onoja on condole visit to Tawari community were over 20 people was killed by Gunmen

Deputy Governor of Kogi State arrived Kogi Kotonkarfe Local government Area of Kogi State, on condolences visits to Tawari Community were over 20 people where killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen on the 3rd of January 2020.

According Comr Yahaya, Media Aide to The Local Government Chairman, Barr Tanko Osuku, “Kogi LG Administrator, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa lead Other Critical Stakeholders to receives Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief David Edward Onoja who was in the area to condole the people of Tawari community over the early morning Friday attacked where over 20 persons were reportedly killed by unknown Gunmen.

Also present to receive the Deputy Governor was, a serving state house assembly representing member who represent Koton-Karfe Constituency, Hon. Muhammed Abubakar Tanko “Super”, Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Muhammed Awal Imam, SSA Political, Former APC Guber aspirant, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, LG Administrative team and other notable leaders from Kogi LG were among faces who came out to welcome the no 2 citizen of the State.

Mr. Onoja was received at Gegu Beki in Zone C and he is expected to visit Tawari ward where the carnage took place.”

Meanwhile Kogi Kotonkarfe Local Government, Tanko Osuku has said that Fulani’s herdsmen were responsible for attacks, h said since the Creation of the state such attack has never happen before.
