Imo Rerun: IMO APC strategizes for victory

• CHARGES PARTY MEMBERS ON VICTORY FOR MIRIAM, IHEANACHO
• COMMENDS OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA, OTHER LEADERS FOR THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE PARTY’S REVITALIZATION

The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State has set machineries in place to ensure victory for the Party’s candidates at the 25th January rerun elections scheduled to hold in Okigwe North and Orlu Federal Constituencies.

At an expanded meeting of the State Executive Committee and the 27 LGA chairmen held in Owerri, yesterday, the State Chairman of the Party Hon. Daniel Nwafor restated the Party’s determination to ensure victory for its candidates in the coming elections. According to the Chairman;

“Imo is predominantly APC, and we are determined to prove that once again in the upcoming rerun elections. Every hand must be on deck to ensure that our votes count, and that the PDP is stopped on its rigging tracks.”
The Party commends a national leader of the Party and immediate past governor of the State, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha for his commitment to the success of the Party in the State and also praised other leaders of the Party in the State for reuniting to ensure that the Party is revitalized.

The Party also directs all members of the Party, especially from the affected constituencies to bury their differences and work together towards ensuring the victory of our Party’s candidates in the elections.

Princess Miriam Onuoha, our candidate for Okigwe North federal constituency rerun is a very popular humanitarian, crisis manager and a darling of the people of her federal constituency, her support cuts across Party lines, as she has over the years made good impacts in the lives of the people of her constituency. The Party expects her victory to be overwhelming, convincing and undisputed.

Barrister Edwin Iheanacho, an experienced attorney and businessman, is a unifying factor, a philanthropist and youth friendly development enthusiast, whose track records in public service is enough to earn him victory across the affected polling booths in his constituency. The Party is positive about his victory in the election.

Further to this, the Party has directed the zonal chairmen of the Party in the affected areas to coordinate a technical committee that would interface with major stakeholders to ensure the Party’s victory in the affected constituencies.
