Former Gov. Of Nasarawa State, Senator Tanko Al-Makura Loses Sister

The former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Tanko Al-Makura yesterday loses sister.

Senator Tanko Al-Makura who represents the Southern Senatorial District of Nasarawa State in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly has lost one of his siblings.

The sibling, Hajiya Amina, died today Wednesday in Abuja after a protracted illness.

She was buried according to Islamic rites in Keffi, where Senator Al-Makura was in attendance during the Jana’iza prayer.

Amina, was until her death, married to Alh. Tanko in Tudun Kofa in Keffi, Nasarawa State. She died living behind two female children.

After the Jana’iza prayer, Senator Al-Makura paid homage to the Emir of Keffi, Alh. Dr. Shehu Yamusa II, in his palace.

May the soul of Amina and those of the departed souls rest in perfect peace. Amen!
