Covid-19: Open Jumat Mosques now, Nationwide, I think enough is enough – Muhammad to FG

Aliagan Muhammad called on the federal government of Nigeria to open mosques in Nigeria, so that Congregational prayer can commenced.

Muhammad who made the called via his Facebook, said that is a great deception if Mosque will be remained close and supper market are open for business.

He said the country need prayer at this trying time to overcome covid-19 pandemic.

He said “The governments in Nigeria should unlock the JUMAT MOSQUES nationwide to allow religious leaders to begin congregational divine prayers and then use genuine, sincere supplications to wage final and most effective war against Corona viruses or COVID19 PANDEMIC.
No genuine reasons to keep mosques locked while big markets, super markets, shopping malls and even some major club houses are now opened, functioning, if you like, on certain restrictions.
All Imams or pastors should employ services of health workers at main doors of their big religious Centres, like banks, to check the temperature of worshippers before entering. The governments can also assist main central mosques at state and local government capitals on medical checkup before entering mosques.
It amounts to waging war against religious houses to open markets, banks and other crowd public places and it is NOT ONLY UNFAIR BUT A BIG SIN.
THIS IS TIME TO SEEK GOD’S FORGIVENESS AND RECEIVE HIS MERCY AND BLESSINGS.”
