Boss Mustapha, chairman of the Presidential Task Force, on Wednesday, announced that out of the several COVID-19 herbal cure claims, three have been identified and sent to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and approval, if deemed fit.
He stated that “the occurrences in Bank and other cities have given cause to launch our research initiatives using existing structures and systems in a manner that will build a legacy and prepare Nigeria for any further pandemic.
It is true that crisis birth innovations, as these researches are born out of the need to suppress the rising pandemic.
In order to validate these cure claims, the Federal Ministry of health held a virtual meeting with the various researchers and scientists, as the chairman said: “Out of the numerous claims, three were found to deserve further investigation and we have forwarded them to the relevant authorities for appropriate review”.
He also encouraged other researchers to come up with innovations, as to the cure for the virus.
