Some youth today in Kogi Kotonkarfe Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State, stage a protest to show their displeasure with the yesterday’s Judgment that ceded Kotonkarfe to Igala Kingdom.

Some of us had earlier considered the judgement as mischievous, Carlos and bear parlour arrangement owing to the fact the originating summon, was Michael Idakwo who happened to the Attah of Igala kingdom not Attah of Egbura kingdom.
Secondly, One will also wonder, if the court has the right to consider and judged upon items, activities that were not considered during 1914 amalgamation and subsequent birth of Nigeria that preclude, provincial leaderships, state creation, boundary adjustment and establishment of National boundary commission.
We (Youths) had equally question the integrity of the judge to have looked mischievous arrangement of precolonial rule if any as the basis of his judgment that undermine the laws of federal republic of Nigeria detailed in the constitution and our history detail from 191 4 amalgamation, having notice this personal hearing political agenda and conspiracy.
While we still advise that the judgment must be challenge for proper hearing, we advise the law abiding citizen of Koton Karfe to remain calm as community elite across divides are putting up effort to challenge the FHC judgement.
