In line with the objectives of identifying needs in the society and solving them, the Rotary Club of FESTAC donated medical equipment to the Mother and Child Centre (MCC) in Amuwo Odofin.
Rtn. Chuks Ozigbo, the president of the Rotary Club of FESTAC, in his statement, explained that the act was a way of reaching out to humanity, and he also explained that there are opportunities and benefits that come with being a Rotarian.
He said, “We want to have a situation where people in our society who ordinarily would not be able to afford health services can now do because of things like this, as it helps reduce the burden on this class of people”.
The chief health director of the MCC, Dr. Dapo Soyinka, received the gifts with thanks.
