Laliga Returns: Lucas Ocampos Helps Sevilla Defeat Real Betis.

The much anticipated wait for the return of the Laliga came to an end as Sevilla defeated local rivals,Real Betis 2 goals to nil in the first laliga game since March 10.

The Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium though deviod of any spectators as the game was played behind closed doors still had some excitement in it. The first goal of the match came from the penalty spot as Sevilla winger,Lucas Ocampos made no mistake putting the ball past Robles in the 56th minute. Former Manchester City player, Fernando netted in the second goal on the day with his close range header shortly afterwards.

Lucas Ocampos was the star of show. His driving efforts on the right flank was really a terror for Betis all day. His penalty now puts him at 11 goals this season and his assist for the second was incredible, winning the man of the match award was really worth it.

Sevilla who in previous home games always have immensed crowd backing, had to do deal with the non-existence of fans in this match and they did so well enough with Sevilla dominating right from the onset creating their first chance when the dangerous Ocampos charged into the Betis box taking a swipe at goal in the 10th minute.

It was an important victory for Champions League chasing Sevilla. A win now puts them at third place standing three points behind second place Real Madrid. Real Betis meanwhile remains in the 12th points. Sevilla now travel to Levante on Monday while Betis are at home to Granada on Monday also as the Laliga look to really kickstart.
