How to get out of a TOXIC relationship.

Once you’ve identified that you’re in a toxic relationship, that’s one step in the right direction. Next up is realizing that that you deserve more. , when you have done some work on yourself , and have a better sense of self-esteem. When you know what you want and what you deserve … When you start to think of things in these terms, you know it is likely time to start to move on.

Toxic relationships are very stressful, you become so stressed out, you start doubting yourself and think you’re not good enough. Then depression creeps in and you start trying to adjust to fit your partners criteria sometimes you even loose yourself in the process.

So if you think you’re in a toxic relationship then this are the following ways to get the fuck out of it:

1. Seek help: People in toxic relationships need help from friends, family, and professionals to commit to change. …cause it’s not actually easy to come out of it. Knowing fully well that you’ve spent a couple of years with that particular person it’s very hard to leave. If care is not taken you’ll keep going back it’s not because you’re timid or you don’t know what to do it’s cause you love that person so much, you can do anything to make that person happy even at your own detriment.

When you find out you’re in something like this the first thing you need to do is find help, from family from friends , it might even be professional help. Get a counselor cause you need that more than ever now . This people act as support to you.

2. Express the way you feel: The next step is to express how you truly feel, don’t leave anything behind , it’s painful we all know that if you want to shout then shout, if you want to cry then cry don’t let anyone stop you . You need that now cause that’s your healing process . When you start expressing how you really feel you start becoming free inside .

3. Make a decision: This is the next step, you need to calm down and choose what you really want to do , do you want to stay in that relationship or you want to be free. No one would make the decision for you except yourself, you need freedom , you need to be happy , you need to work on yourself and all this can’t and won’t be achieved if you don’t make a decision. You can’t stay in a toxic relationship cause it’s feeds on you.

4. Stick by your decision: When you finally make that decision, STICK BY IT don’t let someone tell you what to do, don’t let them make you think otherwise, you’re the one in the relationship and not then , you suffer the hurt they don’t do that for you.

You need to stand your ground and don’t let them change your decision for anything, show that you know what you want and you’re willing to get what you want and that is FREEDOM.💪🏿

5. Surround yourself with Positive Vibes: You just came out from a toxic relationship, all you need now is positive vibes and nothing more. Don’t let someone say you down and tell you that you didn’t do a right thing. You just made one of the best decisions that will benefit your life and you well being.

Surround yourself with people that love you, with friends and family, meet new people , Go on a vacation if you have money for that .
