The body of the immediate past governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi who arrived in his Ibadan, Oyo State residence early this morning has been buried.
Former senator, Ajimobi died on Thursday at a private hospital in Lagos after spending weeks in intensive care for coronavirus complications.
He was 70 years old.
Ajimobi was a senator from 2003 to 2007. After unsuccessful attempts, he was ultimately elected governor of Oyo State in 2011 and re-elected in 2015.
