Muhammad Wakili was born on 26th may, 1959 in Gombe, Gombe state he attended some schools were he pursed his education at Central primary school, Gombe in 1973, Government secondary school maiduguri in 1977, University of maiduguri in1985 were he obtained Bachelor of arts, hausa and linguistics before joining into Nigerian Police academy in 1988-1989, he attended his National youth service Corp in 1986. CP Wakili rtd also attended institution for security studies, Abuja were he obtained fellow of the security institute (FSI).
