True leader who have the Interest of People Don’t fight To be elected by all means — Editorial

In the verge of wanting to become a leader, African Politician goes to any length to secured the vision.

The question is this, will anyone who really have the interest of serving his people, used all means to take up leadership position?.

In Nigeria, and the entire Africa today, election has become semi civil war where life of innocent citizens are wasted because someone want him/her to be elected into political position by all means.

During elections firing arms and other dangerous weapons are used freely.

Security personnel are comprises, they are used by the desperate politicians without sympathy

Citizens were not only denied their right, but their life were snuff out of them because they want to elect the leaders of their choice.

In 2010, over Thousand of Nigerians killed only because President Muhammad Buhari was not elected.

In November 16h 2019 pre-election violence in Bayelsa State, report revealed that over 21 people were killed and 195 injured in Nembe Council area of the State.

That is just the one reported, many deaths were unreported.

In Kogi State November 16th gubernatorial election, over 17 people were killed in various unit during the elections.

The video circulating on the internet revealed how governor convoy were use freely to snatch ballot box.

Why reacting to the violence, Kogi State Governor, Yayaha Bello on Channel television describe the violence that claimed lives of it citizens as pocket of violence that shouldn’t be use to cancel the elections.

Did anyone blood Worthy of the political aspirations of any politician?.

There many of violence and killing perpetrated by this so call desperate politicians uncounted for.

The truth of the matter is that, a true leader who have the interest to serve it people will not go to the length of using violence to win elections, because true leader considered lives of every citizens to be important.

A true leader believe on the will of it people, he/her believed that it people that know who is right to governing them.

A true leader listen to the voice of masses, they feel the pain of the masses more than the masses themselves.

That is what true leaders is.

But it sadden to let you know that such leader, are rear, they hardly found in Africa.
