Man City move quickly to snatch two transfer targets from under Solskjaer’s nose

£40m Bid For Nathan Ake accepted by Bournemouth.

Manchester City are moving ahead of Manchester United in the transfer market by making moves for the players on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer target list.

According to various sources, including The Guardian, City have agreed to a fee of £ 24.5 million plus bonuses for Valencia winger, Ferran Torres.

Torres was believed to be at the top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s list of Jadon Sancho alternatives after Bayern Munich decided not to sell Kingsley Coman.

City have secured a fantastic price for the talented 20-year-old, who is considered to be one of the best prospects in Europe.

City are also making moves on another reported United target, Bournemouth centre-back Nathan Aké. And reports has suggested that Manchester City have already have a bid of £40m accepted.

The Red Devils are eager to add a centre-back with a solid left foot to their side and Aké is believed to be at (or near) the top of the list, but again the Citizens seem to be moving faster to land the talented 25-year-old.

The Guardian claims that City are already in talks with Bournemouth about the Dutch international, with a move of £35m being lined up.

On the plus side, if City land Aké, it could leave United clear to make a move for Kalidou Koulibaly, who has also been linked to both clubs this summer.

Napoli are keen to cash in on the 29-year-old as they did not qualify for next season’s Champions League.
