Champions League clash : Gareth Bale Dropped by Real from 24-man UCL squad list ahead of Manchester City encounter.

As the Champions League look to resume on Friday after months of layoff clubs have gone ahead to release their squad list for the next round of matches left to be played and one team to do so is UCL Record holders, Real Madrid.

Surprisingly, Gareth Bale’s status at Real Madrid took a plummet after he was left out of the Champions League squad list that is to face Manchester City on Saturday.

Los Blancos announced the squad list which included Eden Hazard. But as the Spanish outlet look to overturn a 2- 1 deficit at the Etihad, Coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to drop the Welshman.

Zidane named eight forwards in his squad but Bale wasn’t part of it. When asked why Bale wasn’t in the squad, Zidane replied and said that Bale preferred not to play against City; sounds absurd as a player who earns over €600,000 per week would prefer not to play and at the same allowed not to. That’s really fsr from the truth Zizu.

Ex- City kid, Brahim Diaz ,and £60million misfit, Luka Jovic have been included. As has young Defender Javier Hernandez.

Club Captain, Sergio Ramos has also been named, despite being Suspended. Had he not been named in the playing party, then he would have been unable to travel.

Colombian playmaker, James Rodriguez and Striker Mariano Diaz have both been left out.

Real Madrid have in mind that they’ll need to win atleast 2-0 to progplay and he%ll still be allowed  to the next stage. And having a match winner like Gareth Bale one who has scored many important goals especially in European Cup Competitions out of their squad seems not to make a lot of sense.
