The Senior Special Adviser on Security Matters Kogi Local Government Area Isah Abdulkarim (ECOMOG) to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoiza Bello has debunked and disclaimed the allegation of one Comr Yahaya Idris of attempting to kidnapped him by his aids.
Yahaya Idris alleged that some aids to the SSA attacked him on Saturday at about 3:30pm in Lokoja the capital of Kogi State, trying to kidnap and probably kill him in order to quit him from participating in Kogi LGA politics.
ECOMOG in a statement through his Media Assistant Abubakar Mubarak Musa has described the the allegation as an act of mischief and uncivil.This is not true and can never stand.
It is necessary to state that the said Idris in the first instance is not an indigene of this LGA and also not a politician of any standing. He has no electoral value, so of what importance is he that will call for his elimination
The orchestrated precarious information is termed to malign and degrade the SSA’s personality he added.
He, however said, ECOMOG is law abiding striving to eradicate all sort of violence in the local Government Area as such cannot sponsor or take part in the said allegation.
Speaking further, the SSA urge each and everyone to remain calm and resolute that Kogi LGA under his watch will work extensively to trash out the security outrage and restore peace in the area.
