Benue Roars As Terwase Akwaza (Gana) Is Killed In Gboko

Hours after accepting to cease fire and surrendering to the amnesty program of the Benue state Government, Mr Terwase Akwaza was killed and dragged in Gboko.

The news has not gone down well with Benue people as they expect, Mr Akwaza also known as Gana to have been incorporated in the society the same way repentant Boko Haram members are treated.

Remember that President Muhammad Buhari has granted amnesty to Boko Haram members and over 800 have so far been reincorporated in the society and reunited with their families. The case of GANA could have been same which was the expectation of the people until that ‘betrayal’.

Criminal activities and other acts of mischief within the Sankara axis, of Benue North are linked to Gana and his allies. He had been declared wanted by the Benue State Government though all efforts to reached him proved abortive until he surrendered.

Earlier yesterday, Tuesday, he along side over 100 members of his team ceased fire and aligned with the amnesty program of Gov. Samuel Ortom. He was to be taken to Makurdi where he would meet with the Governor but as fate would have it, was killed in Gboko. Benue info-pedia gathered that, some members of Gana’s team fled the scene to their hideouts when their superior was being murdered. This might also be a reason to be scared.

This act is considered ‘betrayal’ by the people of Benue. In his reaction, Gov. Samuel Ortom claimed that, the victim was ceased by military along the way and killed in Gboko which proves that he doesn’t not support that action.
Benue info-pedia will later bring you details of those who orchestrated this plot and why, keep tabs.
