Borno state governor, Babagana Umara Zulum Convoys has come under attack again on Sunday 27th of September 2020 by Boko Haram terrorist.
This attack is coming barely 48 hours when the same member of the terrorist ambushed the convoy along Cross Kauwa-Baga road in Borno state leading to deaths of over 30 people, including 10 policemen and 4 soldiers.
The governor was attack this evening again by the same member of the terrorist who laid ambush along Monguno- Maiduguri axis as the they are returning.
“Monguno is north and about 80km drive to Maiduguri, the town hosted thousands of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) mostly from Marte, Baga, Kukawa, Dikwa and other surrounding Local Government Areas.”
Omokoshaban learn that the attack led to the shooting of a back tyre of the vehicle/bus conveying Journalists attached to the governor, but the driver manuveared and drove the vehicle on the flat wheel to escape the scene.”
Vanguard, who also confirm the story said that the governor convoys was ambush about 50km away to Maiduguri by the terrorist
Further investigation disclose that no casualties recorded on the attack.
