ENDA Donates 15 Motorcycles To Security Agents; Constructs Roads To Tackle Security Challenges In Toto LGA.

The Egbura National Development Association ( ENDA ) has donated 15 motorcycles to the security agents in order to boost security operation and protect lives in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

Presenting the motorcycle to the executive chairman of Toto Local Government Area Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda,, the ENDA Welfare, Finance and implementation committee officer Hon. Isimbabi Mohammed Garba said ten ( 10 ) of the motorcircles are for Vigilantee Group of Nigeria ( VGN ) Toto LGA and five ( 5 )were donated to the military super camp situated at Kanyehu village of the area.

He said that the gesture was meant to curtail the insecurity challenges facing the area.

“This singular gesture is to express our appreciation for their gallant effort in dislodging dreaded Darus-salam and bandits who are terrorising the Local Government.

“ENDA as a body is pleased with this singular effort, we will as a body continue to partner with security agents in the area to secure a crime free Toto Local Government Area.

“As the activities of the bandits and kidnappers in the past had affected the lives of our people negatively,” he said.

Hon Garba said that the association is constructing Kenyehu – Uttu road linking to Kparekye Koton Karfe Local Government in Kogi state in order to boost security of the area.

“Grading of Kenyehu-Uttu road linking to Kparekye Koton Karfe Local Government in Kogi state is ongoing and semi model health facility is under construction and drilling of borehole to ease the work of our gallant officers .

“This is what ENDA as body is doing for now , we are grateful to His Excellency and this is part of effort to show support to his administration,” he said.

Responding, Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda the Executive Chairman of Toto LGA while expressing appreciation to ENDA urged other spirited individuals to support the government of Engr. A.A. Sule’s effort in ensuring peace in the state.

He also restated his continued commitment to peace building policy for the overall development of the area and the state at large.

Also contributing, HRH, Ohimege Opanda Alh Usman Abdullahi applauded the ENDA especailly for grading the Kenyehu-Uttu road and other positive gestures.

He appealed to His Excellency Engr A. A. Sule to consider the Kenyehu – Uttu road construction as a major project as it is the shortest link between Nasarawa and Kogi state and one of the feeder road in the LGA.
