University of Uyo Governing Council, appoint Prof. Ukpabio Ndaeyo as 8th substantive Vice Chancellor

The Governing Council of the University of Uyo has approved the appointment of a Professor Nyaudoh Ukpabio Ndaeyo as the 8th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University.

Ndaeyo, a Professor of Farming Systems, is to take over from a Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Enefiok Essien whose tenure ends December, 2020.

This was the decision of the Governing Council of the University during its Special Meeting held today at the Main Campus of the institution.

Born on 25th March, 1961, Prof. Ndaeyo holds a Ph.D in Farms Systems and Masters degree in Agronomy from the premiere University in Nigeria, the University of Ibadan.

He is also an alumnus of the University of Uyo, then University of Cross River State, where he graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Agronomy.
